Fun things for kids to eat

Let me start by saying that is not a picture of something I made, rather a picture I found and am going to make. Some kids will eat anything, mine are not those kids. It's a battle to get my kids to eat much more than a few items, McDonald's being in the top 10! So I am constantly looking for ideas to make foods fun. Today I tried the lady bug apples. They were a hit with Logan. He said "Mommy I do like apples" and ate the whole thing. So I found a few more recipes, one is the above pictured and another was blue jello cups with gummy fish in them. I want to find healthy snacks though, so if anyone has a fun healthy snack tip let me know! I have done the different snacks in the cupcake tin, that was fun, but they still only picked around the stuff they liked. So any suggestions? BTW- I can't wait to get my family fun mag cuz it has a ton of great food tips!

Isn't it funny how you can dress up the food just a bit and then they will eat it? Have you tried the muffin tin idea? My kids really like that.

let me know how the magazine works out, i'm always struggling with Lana and her eating habbits. She won't eat turkey anywhere but your house, hehehe. If not for you she would have never tried it.

Riley loved the muffin tin lunch, I did do that. But I think if I made the food look like something else, she probobly would not eat it, she would tell me she doesn't eat ladybugs if I tried the apple. Fortunately she is a pretty good eater. Very cute and creative though!

Hmmm... Operah had this lady on her show that made all her foods with hidden veggies. and they swear it's good for them and tastes good too. Kodi Lynn will try things if I tell her what magic powers they hold. for example: Green bigs make you grow big. Be carefull though. I wouldn't promise x-ray vision or anything. LOL.
